Jazz Band

Jazz Band is an extra-curricular activity where students play music in all styles other than traditional band class.  In Jazz Band, students learn the skill of improvisation and play music in pop, rock, funk, latin, swing, blues, afro-cuban, country, and many more!  This is also the band where students have an opportunity to play piano, electric guitar, bass guitar, and drum set.

Jazz Band will run once a week after-school every Tuesday that we have school from December 2024 until mid-April 2025.  We will perform a concert on Tuesday, April 15th at 6 PM in the RMS Multi-Purpose Room. Students that are involved in a winter sport or another activity are still able to participate in Jazz Band.  We are almost always able to work out a schedule with coaches and other club advisors when students have conflicts.
