JA Biztown

Student's Voice:

We are getting ready to go JA BizTown or Junior Achievement Business Town. We've done a few activity's to learn about business. The first activity we did was a Lemonade stand. Two people from our class became entrepreneurs and ran a Lemonade stand, they get a loan of $20.00 They needed to figure out what products they could buy, and which products they needed to buy for a lemonade stand. The other students created things to sell to the entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs choose the products they thought were the best, some products went out of business because they sold there product for a lower cost then what it takes to make their product.
