The members of the newspaper's staff had the chance to interview Mrs. Charest here's what she said.

A- 7th grade math teacher

Ms.Pratt
I had the opportunity to interview Ms. Pratt, a member of the MPMS staff. She was very fun to talk to. Here are some things I learned about her.
Q: How young are you?
A: 52 and will be 53 in a month.
Q: What is your role at school?
A: A special education teacher. I help students who need more help in some areas.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pizza
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Reading and hiking
Q: Where were you born?
A: Buffalo NY
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: Retired from teaching but still working at a job to help people.
Q: What's your education background?
A: Masters degree at central Missouri state university
Q: What information would you pass to a new teacher?
A: Never ask for patience, always ask for grace because your patience is always tested.
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: Don't have one
Q: What's your favorite movie?
A: Breakfast At Tiffanys
Q: If you had a million dollars what would you do?
A: Make sure a friend I have that is sick is taken care of.

A: Yes a 19 year old daughter named Morgan
Mrs.Soto
The newspaper staff had the chance to interview Mrs. Soto, a member of the MPMS staff. She gave me lots of good information about herself. Here are some things I learned about her.
Q- What is your name?
A- Nicole Soto
Q- Where were you born?
A- I was born in Charlotte, NC.
Q- What's your role at the school?
A- P.E. teacher and girls basketball coach.
Q- What college did you attend?
A- Wingate University
Q- What do you like to do in your free time?
A- In my free time I am usually home with my family. I love spending time with my kids. We love to play card games, color, cook, play video games, go to the park and go swimming together. I enjoy spending time with my husband, finding restaurants, watching movies, or finding new places to travel with my family and friends. If I am taking time for myself I enjoy a walk outside, snuggle up with a cup of coffee, reading or binge watching my favorite shows.
Q- What made you want to be a gym teacher?
A- I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, so when I went to college I thought about what my favorite class was growing up and it was my fitness class in high school. One of my favorite teachers was Rosa Little, my high school PE and fitness teacher. I always wanted to be able to teach a fitness class like her in school.
Q- What's a typical day outside of school for you?
A- A typical day for me outside of school is making sure my family is taken care of.
Q- Where do you see yourself in five years?
A- In five years I hope that I will still be teaching and coaching here at Mount pleasant. My kids will be going to school here in a few years and I would love to be at mount pleasant when they are.
Q- What's your favorite movie?
A- You've Got Mail and The Wedding Planner. I love romantic comedy movies and Christmas movies.
Q- What's your favorite holiday?
A- My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love making special memories and traditions with my family.
Q- What's your favorite food?
A- I always love chocolate and coffee!
Q- What's information would you pass to a new gym teacher?
A- I would tell a new gym teacher to connect with their students and learn more about them as people.
Q- Do you have any kids?
A-Yes, I have three kids Liam 10, Mia 7, and Owen 5.
Q- What would you do with $1,000,000?
A- If I had $1,000,000 I would buy a house, pay off any debt and invest into our future. I would definitely add in some vacations for our family to visit Disney world and universal studios more often. I would also make sure that we could visit our family and friends in Florida, Wyoming, Colorado and Peru. Also take my husband and kids to Japan because they really want to go. And take my daughter to New York City!
