Parents are encouraged to volunteer at school. Your child's teacher will notify you of volunteer opportunities, and this must always be approved by the teacher in advance. A sign up form is sent home within the first day week of school and available at open house for volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers must complete an approved background check and a signed consent to volunteer form before volunteering in Cabarrus County Schools. You can stop by the front office or click on the link below to access these forms.

Parents and other volunteers must come to the office and sign in before going to the classroom. Volunteers must wear their visitor tag and have your CCS issued volunteer card while working at the school. We request that parents do not bring younger or older children to the school during their volunteer time, as this could be distracting to students and to teachers. For school wide opportunities to help, contact the PTO parent volunteer coordinator to put your name on the list.
