Car Riders

We ask that parents who drop off and pick up children follow the following guidelines.    

Drop Offs: All grades 

• Students may not be dropped off until 7:45 a.m. 

  • Please do not let your child out of the car until morning staff have arrived.

• Keep your position in the line of traffic. 

• Follow the directions of the staff on duty. 

• Wait for staff to unload cars at the main entrance. 

• Do not leave cars unattended in the drive or in front of the school. 

• The car-rider lane is coned off at 8:13. If you arrive after 8:13, please note that you will need to walk your student in the main office to sign in late. 

Car Riders 

• Each parent will be given numbered car tag (student identification cards). Teach your students the number they are to listen for. Have this sign displayed by hanging it on the rearview mirror as you pull into the parking lot.  Be prepared to pull up to  the designated area (the mailbox at the front of the school) to show your picture identification to school staff if you do not have your car rider number displayed in your car.  When you arrive please wait by the curb and stay in line until it is your turn to proceed to the pick-up area. As you pull up to the pick up area your child’s number will be announced with a microphone by a staff member on duty. Your student will then proceed to the announced station. Please do not signal your student(s) to come to the parking lots or driveways.  Staff will be there to help them get to their right station to be picked up.
