Birthdays

 In an effort to protect the academic day, birthday parties will not be permitted during the school day. Store bought cupcakes may be brought in for the class and given out during the last 5 minutes of the lunch period. It is also against CCS policy to distribute invitations by parents, students, or staff at school. No homemade baked goods may be served to children.

The delivery of balloons, gifts, flowers, etc. to school is prohibited. No items will be delivered to students during the school day such as: balloons, flowers, baskets, and other large gifts; these item are prohibited on the bus. 

Invitations to private parties are permitted, provided that every student in the class receives an invitation. Please be sure to notify the classroom teacher in advance when sending invitations so they can ensure a smooth process.
