About

I graduated from The Defiance College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Language Arts and began teaching at Antwerp Local School that year as a sophomore and senior language arts teacher. In 2009, I became the school district librarian. I obtained a master's degree in Library Science from Mansfield University in 2013 and also have a master's degree in Educational Supervision and Leadership from The Bowling Green State University. 

I live in Antwerp with my husband Ryan and three children. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, learning about and experimenting with the media arts, organizing, designing, baking, shopping, serving at my church, and remodeling my house. I love to learn and think it is essential to be a student for life.
