Hello! I am Corrie Nassar and I will be your child's Reading and Science teacher this year!

I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade again this year! This will be my seventh year teaching at Spearman and my third year teaching fifth grade! Before moving to fifth grade, I taught second grade for four years. I am excited for this new year in 5th grade and for the opportunity to teach your students (some for the second time)! 

I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. I moved here when I went to college at Anderson University, where I fell in love with this area and the Spearman community! I knew that I wanted to stay here permanently and now live in the Simpsonville area. 

When I am not at school, I love playing volleyball, listening to podcasts, going to concerts, cooking, traveling, and playing with my dog. I have a mini golden doodle named Luka, who is the light of my life!

I am so excited to continue teaming with Mrs. Burdick this year! I actually completed my student teaching year at Spearman with Mrs. Burdick in 4th grade when I was in college. She has had a huge impact on me as an educator and taught me everything I know, so I am excited to be her teammate again! Your students are getting a dynamic duo this year and we are so excited to pour into your students this year and love them well!
