Hello! I am Maggie Burdick and I am so excited to be your child's Math and Social Studies teacher!

Before coming to Spearman, I taught 5th grade for 7 years in Greenville County, so I am excited to be back in 5th grade! This will be my eighteenth year teaching (that makes me feel SO old!) and my eleventh year at Spearman. I am really excited to team teach with Ms. Nassar as she has a very special place in my heart because she was my student teacher several years ago and you are all going to just ADORE her! We work so well together, so this is going to be such a fun year.

I am originally from the Buffalo, NY area. GO BILLS!! My husband I moved here in 2009 and fell in love with the Greenville area. We have two children, Elias and Zofia. Elias is in 9th grade at Wren High School and Zofia is in 7th grade at Wren Middle. School. We also have a rescue dog, Cheddar, that we all absolutely adore. 

As a family, we love to travel and hike. We also thoroughly enjoy watching our Bills play....hopefully this is our year! 🤞🏼

In my free time, I enjoy fiddling in my veggie garden, reading, and relaxing at the beach/pool.
