Scott Lynch began his instrumental music journey in the 4th grade where he studied the French horn in the school band at Elbert Palmer Intermediate School in the Christina School District. A youth spent immersed in music of all kinds led to his pursuing a degree in music education from the University of Delaware where he graduated in 2009. A lifelong learner, Mr. Lynch earned a master's degree in educational technology from Wilmington University, graduating in 2022.
Mr. Lynch currently serves as strings director at Old State and Townsend Elementary Schools. He also has many years of experience as a private lesson teacher, instructing students on woodwinds, brass, orchestral strings, piano and guitar.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Lynch maintains an active career as a freelance musician in the Tri-State area.
