doubles - Two of the same number added together. For example, 6 + 6 is a doubles fact.
combinations of 10 - Addition facts with a sum of 10, such as 6 + 4 = 10 and 7 + 3 = 10.
doubles fact - An addition fact in which a number is added to itself, such as 4 + 4 = 8 and 9 + 9 = 18.
number sentence - Two groups of mathematical symbols connected by a relation symbol (=, >, <, ≠). Mathematical symbols on each side of the number sentence can include numbers, letters for unknown values and/or operation symbols (+, -, *, or ÷). Number sentences often contain grouping symbols like parentheses. For example, 2 _ (3 + 4) - 6 < 30 ÷// 3 and 4 _ m = 100 are number sentences.
sum - The result of adding two or more numbers. For example, in 5 + 3 = 8, the sum is 8.
