Allegra Martschenko
AgentAllegra Martschenko is a literary agent at BookEnds Literary Agency where they represent adult, YA, and crossover speculative fiction of all kinds with a special focus on championing marginalized authors. They’re also a cofounder of Paths in Publishing (an early career mentorship program), the editorial coordinator at Princeton University Press, an artist, and a writer. They started agenting in 2022 with Ladderbird Literary Agency before making the move to BookEnds in early 2025. Their work in scholarly publishing began in 2020 at Princeton University Press and followed a winding path to Levine Querido as a We Need Diverse Books Intern, then to a Mellon University Press Diversity Fellowship at Cornell University Press, followed by an editor position at The University Press of Colorado, and, finally, right back to Princeton. They have a degree in architecture with minors in creative writing and urban studies from Princeton University.
