Paul Sloop

Paul Sloop was recently named the new Director of Programming at the Oscar qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival where he had been the Lead Programmer of Short Films since 2003.  He has also been the Director of Programming at Film Pittsburgh since 2018 and the Director of Programming at the Cordillera International Film Festival in Reno/Tahoe, NV since 2021.  Paul lives in Mentor, OH with his wife of 24 years, Sarah Sloop who is a PA in trauma at the Cleveland Clinic.  Paul and Sarah share quite the adventure together as they have seven daughters, one son, three dogs, and three cats.  Paul's newest adventure will be developing a new program tentatively titled, "The Spirit of Film: It's What's Inside".
