Tarshire Battle is a mixed-media artist known for her tactile, layered works that combine found objects, stitching, paint, and vibrant color. Guided by intuition, she explores materials to create visually balanced compositions. Battle has a strong record of community engagement, founding an art center for veterans and developing the Women Veterans Art Project in Boston. Her work has been exhibited regionally, and she currently leads free art workshops across Rhode Island, promoting art for healing and connection
