I wrote this poem a few months after I had graduated from the Master's in Clinical Psychology program at AULA in 2010.  This piece reflects the yearning to belong in society at large - looking for the place of inner and outer acceptance and connection.  This reflects the search for a community where one can have a sense of belonging and feel accepted for who they are.  When an environment is safe, there is a sense of relief that lends to inner peace and feeling at "home".
