My years at Antioch shaped both my scholarship and my interior life. I learned to ask unasked questions, to examine structures—social, spiritual, and personal.
The poems I share here explore belonging as something living and dynamic. A mountain spine that shifts epochs. A river that releases what it has nurtured. A tent once staked for shelter, now learning to float.
As a writer and educator, I am increasingly attentive to this threshold where students step into their own current, where purpose deepens through discovery.
These poems reflect my continued commitment to cultivating spaces on the page and in the classroom where growth and belonging are honored.
