In this task, you will use the learning objective assigned by your teacher to create a stop-motion animation with Google Slides. Stop motion is a technique used in filmmaking to make objects appear to be moving through photographed images. The photographed images are played at a fast rate and it makes the object(s) appear to move. We can simulate a stop motion with Google Slides by creating multiple slides of the same object and moving it slightly on each slide. All of the steps on how to create your own are below. Make sure you are sticking to a story involving your teacher's assigned learning objective and have fun!
Go to your Google Drive through Clever or the by typing it in the search bar. Make sure you are signed into your school Google account when you are in Google Drive. Watch the video below if you aren't familiar with accessing Google Drive.
If you are just starting out, we recommend you start by creating a Google Stop Motion with speech bubbles. When you are comfortable with the process, you can move on and create a stop motion with voice-over. How-to videos for both options are found below.
