Form a team of up to 3-5 students in grades 6-12.

Read the books! Start as soon as you form your team!

You don't have to wait until then: once you have your team, go ahead and get registered!
Coaches complete online survey to test the online testing system March 31, 2022.
Discuss the books.
Make sure every book is covered by a reader.
Wise teams try to get each book read by at least 2 readers.
Begin thinking up good quiz questions. Draft some.
Talk about the books with your group weekly or bi-weekly.
Coaches submit a minimum of 5 questions per assigned book(s) (use team as a resource) by April 14, 2022.
Take ONE multiple choice test and ONE author name test online with your team April 22, 2022, at your home school. Your coach (or a designated adult) must proctor both online tests.
Qualifying teams will be announced within a few days of online testing completion.
Confirm Grand Battle Attendance by April 29, 2022.
Currently, the GRAND BATTLE is scheduled to be held at Southview Middle School in May TBD.
The Grand Battle will involve either 9 or 12 teams.
The top team from every school on the pretest will earn a spot.
The remaining spots will be earned based on the final online test scoring, regardless of the originating school.
