Lab Report Reflection
When I was working on designing my material science project, I was interested in textiles used commonly in interior design. I used a relatively strong dye, but it still wasn't as dark as I would have liked it to be. This proved to be slightly difficult because a few of the stains looked very similar, and it was hard to tell which stains were the darkest. Other than this, my results were very clear, and I think that the results I did get were helpful for me to understand what textiles are most durable. As someone who is interested in the Interior Design world, I think that knowing the durability and stain resistance of textiles is something that is very useful to understand. When a designer is in the process of creating concepts for homes, clients often ask for durable products that will last. Because of this, designers understanding the different qualities of commonly used textiles is important for their sucess in designing both beautiful and functional homes.
