Why Animas?

I choose to attend Animas high school because of the diverse opportunities it offers to each student that walks through its doors. As someone who attended a small school from preschool all the way through eighth grade, and then choose to attend a large public high school, I found it very difficult to be just another number. When I chose to transfer to Animas in eleventh grade, I felt like I was seen. The teachers and students at Animas ensure that everyone feels seen. Along with this, I appreciate the ability that students have to personalize their learning path through the various opportunities including projects, Osprey Block, dual enrollment, LINK internships, and Senior Projects. Overall, Animas creates a space where I can thrive socialy and academically.
