Welcome to Anike Foundation's Website Team! Anike Foundation's website resides on Squarespace. The purpose of this orientation is to familiarize you with Squarespace and establish rules for making changes on Anike's website . This orientation consists of five parts:
1. How to Create a Website - Squarespace Tutorial. This tutorial is a basic introduction to creating a website using Squarespace.
2. How To Create a Squarespace Website. This tutorial has more detailed instructions on how to create a website using Squarespace.
3. Guidelines:
Please do NOT use any pixelated images - even as placeholders. We have two sources of decent images that we have all rights to use:
Our Image Gallery: These are images from our partner organizations on a variety of subjects, from problem identification to projects.
Feel free to use any of these images.
4. Editorial Changes:
All new pages on the website are subject to review by the editorial board and the President prior to publication on the live site.
All new pages should be created in the "Not Linked" section of the website for review by the President prior to publication on the live site as directed by the President.
Only minor edits, such as typo corrections, may be made to live web pages. All such edits must be reviewed and approved by the President.
5. Fundraising Orientation. As a Website Team member, you are, by definition, an extended member of our Fundraising Team. You would be accessing documents from our Fundraising Google Account, which is shared by our fundraising team. Visit our Fundraising Orientation page and follow the given instructions.
When you have completed the above orientation, inform the Volunteer Coordinator.
