Our van will be white, with a big print of our logo on each side. Like any self-driving car, it will have many cameras and sensors to make sure it knows where it's going. They will be located almost everywhere, but especially on the front, back, and edges of the van. It will have multiple caution signs and flashing lights so cars know to stay clear.
The Interior of the van will have controls and a driver's seat, just in case if the car breaks down. It will have technology that allows for the control base to send it to certain places when people call in about road problems. There will be a hatch that can open to the bottom of the van to check on the sweeper arm and a machine that activates the lights and signs while the van was working. There would also be a large tub filled with cold patch with a tube connecting it to the bottom of the van. Additionally, the van will have a machine that makes sure that the van has enough gas, cold patch, tire pressure, and other technical difficulties that might interfere with the van's work and send it back to the control base.
The bottom is relatively simple, with A) The chute from the tank of cold patch, surrounded by micro-cameras to pinpoint the pothole, then fill it without the cold patch overflowing. Then B) Our unfolding sweeper arm, which is basically two brushes with sensors to find debris (could range from twigs to trash) and sweep it safely off the road. The arm would then slide in on its long metal track until its next use. These would be surrounded by the usual mechanic parts used to keep the van up and running.
