Week 8

Went to the movies for the first time this week. The movie ticket was like 4 dollars. Each movie has this really loud and epic sounding music video commemorating the royal family before it starts. Some people stand up but most don't. The volume of it definitely shocked me. Also had to have a food stand for my Thai food exploration this week. We served noodles. Also went on a late night trip to TeeNoy again where we got stuck a rainstorm afterward and couldnt get a cab for a while. It was kinda fun but at the same time my mosquito bites were killing me. I also visited a friend's Aunt at the airport. She offered me money and I had to act remorseful about accepting it. I never recieve money from relatives but I know the culture around it still. Lastly, I went to a free concert centered around Halloween at the school. It was cool but unfortunately I don't know any of the songs.

Movie (Sapparor

Its a movie about a dying undertaker. His son comes back home to visit him. At he same time a girl kills herself and her ex boyfriend is very distraught about it since he had things he still wanted to tell her. Its movie about death, family, with some comedy sprinkled in. Overall I liked it a lot, and got a bit emotional at the end of it.
