Started off this week by visiting a huge night market. It had 40 different sections with at least 10 shops in each section. I had to haggle, but ended up getting some clothes for very cheap (around 4 dollars for a pair of pants). Also, I am normally not a fan of coconut, but coconut genuinely does taste different here and I am now a fan of it. There is also a dining area near my apartment called Groove, where there are lots of shops, a speaker playing music, and a ton of university students. I also tried using the public transportation the first time, including the skytrain and bus. It reminds me a lot of new york city with how easy it is to get around with the public transit. It hasn't been quite as developed but it is also significantly cleaner than NYC. Overall, I really feel excited to live here for the next few months.
