On the first floor of the Large Scale Systems Museum we will meet these titans of early, networked, digital computing. Watch this vintage promotional video about the PDP-11 and what features distinguished it from other computers of its time.

On  the second floor of the Large Scale Systems Museum, we will play with an HP 747A plotter, and ideally submit our own drawings written in HP-GL ("Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language").

FORTH is a computer programming language that's been used for many different applications since the seventies. On our visit, you'll be able to write a simple program in FORTH using hardware from around the time the language came into wide use.
