About Me
Hello! My name is Mary Frances Cloninger. I am the sixth grade social studies teacher at Southwood Academy of the Arts. The 2023-2024 school year will be my fifteenth year teaching. I am passionate about world history, and love sharing this journey with my students! I graduated from Clemson University with honors in 2009. I have a wonderful husband, Joel, who I have been married to since 2010 .We have a daughter, Abigail (4), and a son Benjamin (1). In my spare time I enjoy traveling the world, anything and everything British, sports (especially Clemson football), COFFEE, the outdoors, being at church, and good food. I look forward to a wonderful school year.
