Assessment  Program

South Carolina State Testing Program

• SC Ready - South Carolina College and Career Ready Assessments 

The SC Ready is the end of the year state assessment for all students in grades 3-8 for core subjects of ELA and Math.

• SC PASS - South Carolina Palmetto Assessments of State Standards

The SC PASS is the end of the year state assessments for all students in grades 4 and 6 for the core subject of Science.

• End of Course Exams

The EOC is administered to all Algebra I Honors and College Prep students as these are high school credit-bearing courses.

• PSAT/NMSQT

The PSAT/NMSQT is given to a group of identified 8th grade students.  

This is not only a practice test for the SAT which is a college entrance exam, but it is the assessment that identifies Junior Scholars.

NWEA MAP Testing 

• The Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) in the areas of Math and ELA are administers in the fall, winter and spring.  The test results are used to guide future instructional decisions based on individualized student needs.
