PE 1 introduces high school freshmen to fitness, sports, and overall well-being. Students will participate in various physical activities from team sports to individual fitness activites. Students will learn the fundamentals of physical health, develop essential skills, and build a solid fitness foundation. Students will learn the importance of staying active, making healthy choices, and cultivating a positive attitude towards lifelong wellness. Throughout this course, students will have the opportunity to develop social interactions, teamwork, and self-confidence.
PE 2 is a program that focuses on a lifelong commitment to fitness. It provides students with a comprehensive foundation in fitness, sports, and healthy living. It equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain an active and balanced lifestyle throughout life. PE 2 promotes not only physical fitness, but also teamwork, leadership, and personal growth, instilling values that extend beyond the classroom.Â
Weight Training is an advanced course that is recommended for athletes. This course will provide instruction for proper weight training techniques, speed and agility drills, and flexibility exercises. Students willing to push themselves mentally and physically will see improvements in their strength levels and their physical appearance will be enhanced.
