Conduct public awareness events to sensitizing the local community on the importance of cassava production in Ganze to change its current status of the crop from being a famine crop to an important everyday crop.
Support farmers/households increase cassava production from the current six tonnes to allow for increased profit margins even amid a reduction in prices.
Diversify and promote high yielding cassava varieties and good agronomic practices from land preparation, planting, and management as well as eventual harvesting and handling.
Diversify food production – kitchen gardening, cowpeas, and green gram farming ( intercropping )
To develop and promote user-friendly community led conservative agriculture techniques which will increase food production at household and sub-county level.
Conducting 3 training on cassava production, processing for target farmers, supplying of processing and stocking materials,
Training on dryland farming and establishing 30 demonstration plots and bulking plots at farmer level.
Develop dryland farming techniques application and support silos for seed stocking at the group level.
Establishment of infrastructure/logistics for the supply of raw cassava from production to processing units.
Formation of Producer Business Groups for purposes of collective processing and marketing will be important for the farmers to benefit from the economies of scale.

Mentorship training on bulking techniques for Cassava planting materials during the dry periods to allow for timely availability of the cuttings when needed.
Build capacity of community leaders, farmers on business enterprise development; basic food hygienic standards and nutrition habits among the local communities
