Pecha-Kucha

This week, fifth graders will learn how to create a Pecha-Kucha presentation. A PechaKucha is a presentation made up of 20 slides, with each slide shown for 20 seconds. Students will learn how to organize their ideas, select meaningful visuals, and present their topic clearly within a set amount of time.

Aug. 31 - Sep.4

Word Processing Assessment 📝

Fifth graders will demonstrate their knowledge of word processing skills in Google Docs by completing an assessment.

They will apply the skills and tools they have been practicing in class.

Aug. 24-28

This week, students will be creating an “All About Me” project! They will have the opportunity to share fun facts about themselves while getting creative with their project.

Students will practice their word processing skills by:

Typing and organizing information
Changing fonts, sizes, and colors
Adding and formatting pictures
Using different text formatting tools
Creating a neat and creative layout

Students will be practicing important computer skills while creating a project that represents who they are! 🌟
