Welcome to Computer Class!
Hello dear Kinder students! I am so excited to welcome you to our computer class. This year, we will have so much fun exploring computers, playing educational games, and learning how to use technology in simple and exciting ways. We will also discover robots and see how they can move, light up, and even follow our instructions. Plus, we will enjoy creative STEAM Lego projects where we use Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math to imagine, build, and explore. Get ready to click, tap, type and learn while having lots of fun together!
Kindergarten students will combine math and technology as they help Adventure Man on his Counting Quest to reach 50 by 1s and 10s. Using an interactive game, they will practice number skills, problem-solving, and digital learning while having a blast completing each counting challenge!
In this activity, students will review important writing conventions: margins, capital letters, finger spaces, and periods while using ABCya Story Maker to create their very own Easter stories. By combining creativity and correct writing habits, children will practice writing neatly, organizing their ideas, and telling fun stories. It’s a playful way to learn and celebrate Easter through storytelling!

Learning Safari: Math, Words, and Sounds Adventure!
Our Kindergarten students will go on a fun learning adventure! They will practice addition and subtraction through exciting Flash Card Races on RoomRecess.com. Then, they will explore a Sight Word Safari to strengthen their reading skills. To complete the adventure, students will practice beginning sounds with another interactive game from RoomRecess. It’s a playful way to build math and reading skills while having lots of fun! 🦁📚➕✨
This week, Kinder students will explore the fun and imaginative world of Dr. Seuss, full of silly characters and creative stories. Then, we will practice counting by playing Number Bubble on ABCya, popping bubbles as we count all the way to 100. Learning numbers is fun when we play and imagine!
Kinder students will play Alphabats on ABCya to practice rhyming words in a fun and interactive way. As they listen, think, and choose matching sounds, they will build early reading skills while enjoying a playful learning experience.
Welcome to a world where numbers wiggle and giggle! In Base Ten Fun with a Snake, kindergarten learners explore counting, place value, and number building through playful challenges with their friendly snake buddy. By stacking tens, counting ones, and solving mini number puzzles, children build strong math foundations while having tons of fun. Let’s slither into learning together! 🐍💚
This week in Computer class, Kindergarten students will play “Out of Sight Words” from ABCYA! They’ll have fun completing all the levels while remembering the most important sight words along the way! 🌟
Today we will play a fun Tic Tac Toe math game where we solve addition and subtraction problems to earn our spot on the board and try to get three in a row!
In Computer Class, we will play, explore, and have fun with Dash the robot! We will learn how to give simple instructions and make our robot move, talk, and follow our commands.
In Computer Class, Kindergarten students will first learn about the 5 senses through the interactive game 5 Senses from ABCya. Then, they’ll practice their keyboard skills by playing Keyboard Zoo 2, combining sensory learning with fun typing practice!
This week, Kindergarten students will be introduced to the correct use of the keyboard by playing Keyboard Zoo from ABCYA. Through fun, animal-themed activities, students will practice pressing the correct keys, develop finger coordination, and build early typing confidence in an engaging and playful way.
This week in Computer Class, we’ll explore the sweet story behind gingerbread houses and then build our very own using the ABCYA Gingerbread activity! After that, we’ll jump into Super Santa Jr., where we’ll practice using the left mouse button as Santa hops, runs, and collects holiday fun. Get ready for a festive tech adventure!
This week, Kinder students will practice early coding skills by following a simple color code to count and color the Christmas lights on their worksheet. This hands-on activity strengthens pattern recognition, counting, and direction-following. After completing the worksheet, students will use the classroom computers to design and decorate their own digital Christmas tree, reinforcing creativity and foundational technology skills in a fun holiday setting.🎄😊
After finishing their Thanksgiving card and practicing their keyboard skills, our Kinder students will enjoy some fun time before the Thanksgiving break! They will play Sparkanoid from ABCYa’s Strategy Games, where they can practice their mouse control while breaking blocks and having a great time! 🎉🖱️🧡
This week in Computer class, our Kindergarten students will use ABCya Story Maker to create their own Thanksgiving card. They will draw a picture, write a short message, and share why they are thankful. We can’t wait to see their sweet and creative cards!
In this class, Kindergarten students will practice their addition skills in two exciting math games! They will play Marble Math Addition, using the mouse to drag and count marbles to solve problems, and then enjoy Math Man Jr., where they will use the arrow keys to move and answer simple addition questions while having fun!

This week, our Kinder students will have fun playing Comparing Number Values Jr. from ABCYa! They will practice identifying which number is greater or smaller while improving their math and thinking skills. Let’s see who can make the best number choices and reach the highest score!
This week, Kindergarten students will play Fuzz Bugs: Counting, Sorting, and Comparing from ABCYa to review the numbers from 0 to 7. Through this colorful and interactive game, they will practice counting, grouping, and comparing fuzzy little friends while having lots of fun learning with numbers!
Kindergarten students will review all the vocabulary they have learned by working in teams, selecting the most challenging words, and creating a colorful digital word cloud using the Word Clouds activity from ABCya.
Our kindergarten students will be introduced to the keyboard through the fun activity Typing Rocket Jr. As they play, they will practice recognizing the location of letters while developing early typing skills. This activity makes learning both exciting and interactive, helping them build a strong foundation for future digital literacy.
Our Kinder students will explore their creativity using ABCya Paint, where they will design a colorful landscape and proudly include one national symbol in their artwork. They will have fun tracing the letters of the alphabet and the numbers from 1 to 10, just like little artists on the computer! Let’s see how well you can click, drag, and trace while learning your ABCs and numbers.

This week, students will learn the fundamental procedures for using a computer, including how to turn it on and off safely. We'll also focus on maintaining a healthy body position while at the computer and discover the basic functions of computer hardware like the mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc. Get ready to become computer whizzes! 🚀
