Walk around Whittaker Ponds

Sunday, June 7th, in Portland @ 10 AM. Meet in the Gazebo near the parking lot of Whittaker Ponds Nature Park, 7040 NE 47th Ave. Bring your water bottles, cameras, binoculars, bird books or apps (download the Merlin app, it's free) and your curiosity! (Bug spray and sunscreen might also be appropriate.) We'll walk around this former toxic waste site and marvel how nature is making it recover! We'll identify plants, (edible and medicinal), birds, animals, fish and insects. The pace will be slow and meditative, and in places uneven, with tree roots across the path. We will pause to meditate in a place with stumps and concrete to sit on. We'll also practice sending group healing to individuals in this walk and elsewhere. About 90 minutes in total. Open to friends and family.

PEACE DAY CEREMONY AND PICNIC

Sunday, June 21st, (SUMMER SOLSTICE) our annual Peace Day Ceremony, in Portland @ 2 pm, Woodlawn Park Ampitheater. 6854 NE Claremont Ave.

Each year, Rosicrucians around the world meet on the summer solstice to meditate for world peace. This ceremony is simple and lovely and we welcome your sincere friends and family to join us. Afterwards, we each share the lovely healthy food and beverages (nothing alcoholic) in what we term as a "psychic" picnic, which means that we don't designate this person or that to bring protein, fruit, dessert, and so forth, we leave it up to those who plan to attend to psychically attune to the Cosmic and bring what is needed. Also bring your lawn and board games, and musical instruments.

Sunday April 26th in Wilsonville @ 2PM Convocation and "Rosicrucian Healing" experiment

Please join with us this coming Sunday with a practical experiment in one of the many ways the Rosicrucian Order's lessons on properly circulating the body's energy helps you maintain and even improve your health. The experiment is simply called Rosicrucian Healing.

We will meet at the Frog Pond Grange. Doors open at 1:30 pm, and the ritual and experiment begins at 2 pm.

Come early if you haven't attended before and we'll show you around.

Afterwards, we'll have a spirited discussion on our favorite Rosicrucian healing techniques, while enjoying lovely food and drink shared by each of us. (Nothing alcoholic please, and mostly healthy!)

This event is open to AMORC members only.
