Dear Fratres and Sorors,
Save the Dates and plan to attend the most interesting year yet at Enneadic Star Pronaos!
Here is your schedule (click link to access) for the next Rosicrucian year. It is a two-page PDF document, so it should be readable by most phones and computers.
THIS YEAR'S SCHEDULE WILL BECOME EVEN MORE EXCITING WITH MORE EVENTS THAN SHOWN! But these events shown will happen on those days. MOST times are correct, but a few are not graven in stone yet.
For example, we're changing the Peace Day celebration in the Rose garden from the evening to the early afternoon. (Just have to confirm the site booking with the Parks Department.)
Some of the locations are not yet confirmed; this is a work in progress. We send this out today so you can plan your year around it.
Where the event is shown in yellow, that means you can bring your friends and family. It is an open meeting.
Look on the website for more details, starting in one week.
Sunday November 16th @ Frogpond 1pm Open Convocation By Invitation CANCELLED!
Two of our ritual officers had conflicts and thus we had to cancel the meeting, however! Check out what is happening next month!
Sunday December 14th @ Frogpond 1pm Atrium Convocation and
The Relationship of Color to Sound
The topic of our presentation is "The Relationship of Color to Sound." We were amiably chatting before the Convocation today (11/9/2025) about our first American Imperator Fr. Harvey S. Lewis, and his many geniuses. How many of you know that he commissioned the creation of a color organ, called the Luxatone, that broadcast colors on a screen in accordance to notes that were played on it? Well, in December, we will share with you eyewitness accounts of what Rosicrucian members and special invited guests saw, heard and felt in 1933. Two astonishing presentations involving organ music, Metropolitan opera singers, popular singers, and a Met opera dancer, with the dancer silhouetted against the satin screen while colors played over them.
This meeting will be an Atrium Convocation ceremony, so you can invite your friends and family to join us. Bring healthy snacks to share and non-alcoholic beverages.
Address: 27350 Stafford Rd. Wilsonville, OR 97070
For those whom have not attended before, please arrive 30 minutes early to be shown the ropes.
Schedule
12:30 PM - Doors Open
1:00 PM - Atrium Ceremony
2:00 PM - Experiments and snacks, Yummy Refreshments
Sunday December 21st @ Parkrose 1PM Festival of Light
Notice to all AMORC members, their families, and close friends of the Rosicrucian Order:
Please, join us for the serene and lovely Festival Of Light on Sunday, December 21, which is the day of the Winter Solstice. We will meet at our Parkrose Lodge location. The Festival begins at 1 pm.
Since antiquity Light has always been associated with the Divine. In a wider sense, it has come to symbolize knowledge and good, while darkness represents ignorance and evil. This is why an eternal fire burned in the temples of ancient Egypt and Greece. This fire, which was never allowed to go out under any circumstances, symbolized the divine Fire and divine Illumination. In our day, this symbolism is still found in one form or another in many religions of the world and in all mystical traditions. Our Order perpetuates it, especially by means of our various rituals.
This Festival of Light links us to ancient traditions where the mystics of the past celebrated the greatest harmony that is found between human, natural and universal cycles during this period.
Please let us know as soon as possible how many you will be bringing so we will have enough candles ready!
This event is open to AMORC members, their family, and close friends of the Rosicrucian Order.
Reply to oregon@amorc.rosicrucian.org with the count of who will attend.
There will be refreshments and socializing afterwards.
