Dear Fraters and Sorores,
"Wonder is the secret key to the great door that opens into a totally new world. At some time in your life you will open that door and stand on the threshold dazzled by radiant light. And you will murmur, “How wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Before, I looked but now I see. Once I listened but now I hear. I believed but now I know. Here is all I have ever searched for and dreamed about – and so much more I cannot possibly express in words. This is the ultimate wonder of all!”
-Alison Davies, A Sense of Wonder
As we progress through a wet spring, new life is emerging everywhere around us. We in Colorado are now able to move more freely, with the threat of Covid-19 retreating, and affiliated bodies around the country are looking to re-open for in-person activities and convocations. Although cause for optimism, we must remain vigilant and proceed wisely, not recklessly, for our health and that of those around us.
AMORC has been undergoing many changes, including a shift in focus to an online presence. Some of the less populated regions are joining together in collaborations to facilitate resource sharing to operate more effectively and sustainably. This has resulted in a change in the way we do business.
What that means for each of us is there is more work to do. Online teleconferences have proven to be a potent fertilizer for the growth of the Order. Many prominent Rosicrucians have stepped up to offer powerful presentations that enrich and deepen our studies and our experiences. With the return of in-person meetings and activities, we will be incorporating the lessons we have learned over the past year-and-a-half to provide richer and more meaningful activities and experience.
To be successful will require more new members and more volunteers to grow our affiliated bodies and to provide friendly, inviting, and moving spiritual experiences that will continue to attract new seekers and further the development of our current members. To make this happen requires action on each person’s part or it will not happen at all.
Service is the greatest act of Love. If you have personally benefited from the benefits of AMORC, your interaction with an affiliated body, or from attendance at an AMORC event, please step up and pay it forward so others may also benefit. Together we will build better selves, a better AMORC, better affiliated bodies, and a better world. Light, Life, and Love.
If the Cosmic approves, So Mote it Be
