Provincial Master's Message

Beloved Sisters and Brothers, Sorores and Fraters,

Are you ever aware of the ramifications of all the concepts and experiences that we have been exposed to in our mystical quest? We have our intellectual and experiential “aha” moments, but integrating them into an awareness, or a conscious reality can really top those smaller revelations.

Let’s start with the concept of the difference between reality and actuality. You have been, or will be, exposed to these in your Rosicrucian monographs, but briefly restated, your reality is the concept of the world you have built through your years of accumulating perceptual information and interpreting that world through the explanations of others such as your parents, your school teachers, your friends, your religious leaders, etc. This may, or may not, accurately depict and interpret what is, in truth, happening around you, what is actually going on. Our reality is only a subset of actuality, the things that are actually going on – the way the universe is operating independent of our awareness. What we perceive and interpret is only a small portion of what is really happening. Our senses only pick up a small fraction of the energies floating throughout the universe. Instrumentation can, and has, expanded our awareness of unsensed energies, but our understanding and awareness is still extremely limited.

Now, we add to the awareness of this distinction the concept of there being multiple dimensions in this universe. String theory predicts this. We, as mystics, also have the concept of the spiritual world, the world beyond this physical existence, where the Cosmic masters exist and angelic beings reside. We know that conscious energies, thought, and mental creation exist and propagate through this realm. We have, if we have been diligent, learned how to “astrally project” through this realm. We can interpret, or translate, the concept of the cosmic world into a concept of higher dimensions, dimensions beyond the three dimensional world we live in and can perceive. These higher dimensions exist right alongside our 3D world and are as real and factual as our perceived world.

The outcome of merging these concepts is a whole awareness of a Cosmic, multidimensional, universe moving and swirling around us moment by moment that we are not aware of. We are swimming, without being aware of it, in a sea of Invisible beings and creative thought forms. All around us are “things” and “beings” that are very much a part of our universe but of which we are not aware because of our limited physical senses. Our immediate environment is full of spiritual essences and energies, full of spiritual beings, full of thought forms on the verge of manifesting – only we are not aware of it.

I encourage you, sisters and brothers to expand your concept of the created universe and to appreciate the wonder of your conscious existence. Open up to the marvels of all creation including the non-material. Remember that no matter what you experience, no matter what you believe, no matter what your concept of creation, THERE IS SO MUCH MORE!

May you ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!
