"You are the sky. Everything else – it’s just the weather." – Pema Chodren
"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather." – John Ruskin

Greetings from the East!
The Pronaos remained closed for the winter quarter due to the pandemic. For the spring quarter, I expect we will still be closed for indoor activities. Please see the schedule in this newsletter for online and outdoor activities. As always, the situation keeps changing. General availability for vaccines in Colorado is currently mid-May. It gives me hope that temple activities may be possible again for the summer quarter. If things move faster than that, I and/or the regional officers will update you by email.
The teachings of the Order often remind us of the importance of symbols. At the moment the foot of snow from a few days ago is still on the ground. Meanwhile, the forecast in a few days will have the temperature in the 60s. This is no surprise here on the Front Range. We could rail against the sudden shifts in weather, but the wiser path is to learn that one should lose track of neither sweaters nor sunscreen. So too can the winds of fate shift suddenly from cold to hot. As without, so within we should expect change.
I hope we may see each other soon.
Wishing you all Peace Profound,
William Fickas, FRC
