All NYC students will receive access to Amira through summer 2023, which means that they can use the platform both at home and in Summer Rising to help them continue receiving targeted and individualized feedback on their literacy growth between school years! The resources below are available to help you share more information about Amira with parents and caregivers who can feel confident that their child is getting support and reducing summer slide.

Print or email these one-page flyers (available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Bengali) to provide clear instructions on how to log in and use Amira.
Download or make a copy of this letter and update it as you see fit! This can be sent through email or printed and home in backpacks.
Print these out and send them home with students so that parents have an easy way to find their login credentials. We've had luck getting quick prints from NextDayFlyers!
Print these for students to use at home to keep track of their weekly progress toward their goal. Help students create a goal for themselves, or use our recommendation of 10 stories per week!
Send families the link to the video above (or share this page with them!) to provide an explanation of how Amira works and give them some best practice tips for using it with their students.
