The curricular concert bands at Marion L. Steele High School are where students continue to advance on their instruments. The band program offers two bands: the non-select Symphonic Band and the select Wind Ensemble. Both groups perform at all concerts as well as Ohio Music Education Large Group Adjudicated Event, where they have consistently received superior ratings.

The Symphonic Band is designed for developing musicians, with a curriculum that emphasizes strong fundamentals and technical achievement. This ensemble explores a wide variety of fine repertoire, both traditional and contemporary.
Wind Ensemble
Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble is designed for advanced musicians who are equipped with the personal and technical abilities to approach both intricate and challenging selections of music. The Wind Ensemble is selected through auditions.
