Professional Profile

Lyman Daniels is the President of CBRE Mexico since 2009 and is the executive responsible for operations in Mexico and Colombia.

Mr. Daniels’ responsibilities include providing strategic direction as the head of Mexico’s market-leading real estate services organization with more than 1,000 employees performing advisory and transaction services, valuations, facility management, project management and asset services. CBRE Mexico, under his leadership, has been recognized as the fastest organic growing office throughout CBRE world-wide for more than five years.

Arriving in Mexico in 1994 for Hines, the private real estate developer and manager, Mr. Daniels founded and rapidly grew a development and property/facility management business in Mexico to include assignments in multi-tenant class-A office buildings, corporate facility buildings, luxury apartment complexes, and large/scale single and multi-tenant industrial parks. He also supervised the combined portfolios of over 100 properties, oversaw the development of $800M in commercial real estate investment and was responsible for the first multi-asset sale for a US pension fund in Mexico.

Mr. Daniels is the author of numerous publications in the commercial real estate Industry. He is a founding member and was the Chairman of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Mexico. He was formerly the Chairman for the International Region of the Building of the Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for five consecutive years. Currently, he sits on the executive board of the non-profit foundation for the Mexico City based ABC (American British Cowdray) Hospital.
