The ThanksGivingHands project is a new community initiative to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need this holiday season. Started by an AVID student aiming to help her community, the project has quickly partnered with our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Community Schools and the Junior Optimist program to efficiently serve families in our local area. This collaboration ensures that we can identify and deliver complete Thanksgiving dinners to those who need them most, bringing the warmth of the holiday to more local tables.
