Hi and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Cat Kelly, and I'm the school counselor at Alvord High School. I'm here to support students and families through every step of the high school experience—from academics and career planning to social and emotional wellbeing. Whether you're figuring out your next steps after graduation, need someone to talk to, or just have questions along the way, my door is always open. This site is a place to find helpful resources, stay updated, and connect with me whenever you need. 

I’m excited to begin my 19th year in education, where I’ve had the privilege of serving as a teacher, coach, and now as a counselor. I was born and raised right here in Alvord, and I’m proud to still call it home—most of my family lives here, too. The greatest joy in my life is my son, Hudson. He’s 15 and currently a sophomore at AHS! Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, cheering Hudson on at his games and meets, listening to music, traveling to the mountains, and relaxing by the pool. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to support the students, staff, and community of Alvord, and I’m looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
