I am excited to welcome students to Nelson Elementary as the school counselor again this year. I have been in education for 12 years with 8 of those years as a school counselor. I have always had a love of children and helping others. I would like to thank you for sharing your child with me this year. I feel truly blessed and I have truly enjoyed the journey along the way. I get to share my passion for counseling every day!

I began my journey in 2009 with my first 3rd grade class who shared the experience of my wedding in March of 2010. On March 13th, I married my high-school sweetheart. We live in Alvin but have both called Alvin home since we were very young. In the spring of 2014, we added two bundles of joy(a boy and girl twin) to our lives and are excited about this new journey in life as well. I can't believe that they will be starting 1st grade already this year as well. Alvin is a wonderful place to live, work and grow. I am truly blessed to call it home in all aspects of my life. I couldn't ask for a better place to grow in my counseling experience, serve my community, and continue my life journey with my family.
