5th Grade to JH Transitions

The Majority of our students will transition to either Fairview Junior High or Alvin Junior High.

Letters from the junior highs typically go out in the middle of January. Then, the junior highs hold parent information meetings in early February or March.

Then, in early to mid February, junior high counselors will be meeting with every 5th grade class to discuss scheduling and class selections/options for their 6th grade year.

I will then conference with each student to make sure that they have chosen and met the requirements for each class that they have chosen. After all class selections that been collected, then I will submit them to the junior high counselors.
