I am beginning year 8 with Alvarado ISD Technology Department & have taught at AIS & LES. I started my Indian journey in 2010 & have never looked back! I've taught science & social studies to grades 3, 5 & 6.
Seeing the importance of bringing the world to my students in my own classroom helped me decide that I want to help other educators incorporate technology into their classrooms as well.
I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University & hold 3 degrees: Associate Degree in Health Administration, Bachelor of Science in Health Administration & Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a Technology Focus.
My husband & I have raised 2 sons that are graduates of AISD. We've built our life in Alvarado for 23 years & I still love learning about being a ‘farm girl’ with our boys, our 2 daughters in law, & 5 little Indians (2 attend LES, 1 is at AIS, 1 at The Learning Center, & 1 will be joining us next year)!
I love being outdoors, cooking, grilling, gardening, swimming, reading, raising chickens, & loving on our 5 spoiled rotten doggos.
Go Indians!
