In addition to all your important travel documents and favourite clothing items, please make sure to bring the following with you:
Lightweight, breathable clothing – Mauritius has a tropical climate, so prioritise comfortable attire suitable for warm and humid weather.
Bedsheets – These are not provided in your accommodation, we encourage you to bring a set of bedsheets, pillow and pillow cases and a light fleece. All other items can be purchased once you have arrived.
Basic hygiene items – Bring essentials such as shower products, a toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, and sanitary products.
Your favourite traditional outfit – This will be useful for IKAZE! and other community and culture events where we celebrate diverse backgrounds.
For anything else you may need, you can purchase it upon arrival in Mauritius. We will provide transport to the mall so you can shop for essentials and settle in comfortably.
