Getting Around
Public transport in Mauritius is fairly well developed. A series of Buses, Trains, and Taxis help organise transport for everyone across the island -- although, taxis are often too expensive for consistent use. The train line runs from Port Louis to Curepipe, making stops at various stations across the centre of the Island. The train line currently serves traffic going between Port Louis and the important business cities of Ebene, Pheonix-Vacoas, Quatre Bonnes, and Curepipe. Buses run across the entire island according to a predictable and consistent time table, making stops at bus stops and bus stations.
