Tiger Coordinating Council (TCC)
Striving to improve and support the lives of children and families who have complex needs.
Collaborating with Freeborn County Probation Services, Human Services of Freeborn County, and Albert Lea School District
The Tiger Coordinating Council (TCC) meets at Albert Lea High School. This is a service available to families in the district during the school year.
Appropriate Referral
A student who has multiple needs (school, home, court services, human services, community and attends Albert Lea High School (8th grade-12th grade). The participating family must sign a release of information. This allows the TCC access to work and talk with the family in developing the best overall plan for the family. The emphasis of the TCC efforts are to identify these multiple need situations and bring together the family and all appropriate service providers in order to create one service effort that supports the family living more successfully. Collaboration (working together) is key. Multiple services help build a stronger TCC. Once a plan is developed with the student and family, the TCC will then monitor the progress toward improving the student and family’s functioning.
