Lettering in Dance

In order to encourage academic excellence and acknowledge high achievement in the study of dance, we award an Academic Letter in Dance to outstanding Orem High seniors.

In order to be eligible for the Academic Letter in Dance, you must:

• Be enrolled at and graduating from Orem High School.

• Maintain a 3.0 GPA during the letter year.

• Dance at Orem High for at least two years.

You must also complete 7 out of 13 further checklist items and document your dedication and commitment as an Orem High student to the study of educational dance. As many items on this list require more than one year of participation in the department, it is a good idea to be considering these requirements early on in your high school career! While seniors will have the opportunity to complete and submit the application, sophomores should be looking ahead to the time they will be able to receive such an honor and apply themselves to working towards it.
