You have 2 writing assignments this week. They are due this Friday, April 3. You can work on them any time that's convenient for you. You have 2 different options to submit your work. You can either type your response on a form you can access here, or upload a picture of your written work and send it to me.

#2 - Look at this poster for ideas on how to write the first sentence of your opinion.

#3 - Look at this poster for ideas on how to begin writing your last sentence that restates your opinion.

Assignment #1 Opinion Writing

You will need to write your opinion about this question, "Which is more fun, playing on the playground or playing ball?" First, read the text about playing on the playground and playing ball. Next, decide which one you think is more fun. Then, find two reasons from the text that you agree with, that shows why the one you chose is more fun. Finally, write your opinion (which is more fun), include at least 2 reasons from the text, and restate your opinion. Make sure you write in complete sentences and include capitals and punctuation marks.
