Mrs. Kimberly Dezarn

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be joining the third grade team at MTES! I've been working overseas for a long time - eleven years to be exact, but began my teaching career at Eagle Valley Elementary, and I helped open MTES up its first year.

My husband and I have one son, Noah who is 25, and married to the lovely Siona, and is working towards a higher degree in immunology. I can finally, after over two years not seeing my family while teaching in China, have dinner with there is nothing I love more than spending time with them. (And I'm enjoying having a daughter-in-law very much!) Our family remains travelers at heart and I know there will be trips to far-flung places again soon.

I believe in creating a family each year in my classroom, where students feel safe, respected and loved. We all live together in "Dezarnia - Land of Learning." Once we've established our procedures and what sort of classroom we need in order to learn, children can reach their highest potential.
