Write one story problem for each of the operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). THIS MEANS YOU WILL HAVE 4 STORY PROBLEMS FOR STEP 1
Write a story problem that is multiple steps (you have to do more than one operation to solve)
Make sure all problems are in your best handwriting! Other students will need to read it in class tomorrow.
Reveal/Sequel
Students share story problems with each other. Teachers go around to check problems. Help each student identify one of their problems that can be used for the class activity.
Classwork
Students will highlight the problem the teacher helped them choose for others to solve and leave it at their desk.
Students will rotate through each other's problems and fill out the chart to help them solve.
