- Write one story problem for each of the operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). THIS MEANS YOU WILL HAVE 4 STORY PROBLEMS FOR STEP 1
- Write a story problem that is multiple steps (you have to do more than one operation to solve)

Reveal/Sequel
Students share story problems with each other. Teachers go around to check problems. Help each student identify one of their problems that can be used for the class activity.

- Students will highlight the problem the teacher helped them choose for others to solve and leave it at their desk.
- Students will rotate through each other's problems and fill out the chart to help them solve.
